The Imperial Porcelain Factory has been making teaware.
Founded by the Empress Elizabeth, daughter of Peter the Great, to "serve native trade and native art”.
It is based on a unique formula, invented by self-made scientist
Dimitry Vinogradov.
Over the centuries the factory attracted influential scientists and artists eager to contribute, evolve and develop this unique porcelain.
Between 1918 and 2010 it was known as the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory.
